Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Q: What sets you apart from other healthcare providers?
A: I take an empathetic, patient-centered approach to care. My goal is to truly listen to your concerns, understand your unique story, and work with you to find sustainable, personalized solutions. Many of my patients come to me after feeling dismissed or rushed elsewhere—and I’m here to change that experience. You deserve to feel heard and supported every step of the way.

Q: Do I have to be a chiropractic patient to work with you for functional medicine?
A: Not at all! You can see me exclusively for functional medicine services if that’s what best supports your health goals. Chiropractic care is available as an option, but it's not required to access functional medicine, women's health, or gut health support.

Functional Medicine

Q: What is functional medicine?
A: Functional medicine is a science-based, patient-centered approach that looks for the root causes of illness. Instead of just treating symptoms, we explore the interconnected systems in your body to support lasting healing.

Q: What conditions do you support with functional medicine?
A: Some of the common concerns we address include hormone imbalances, digestive issues, fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, chronic inflammation, and autoimmune conditions.

Q: Do you offer lab testing?
A: Yes! I use a variety of conventional and specialty labs to help uncover imbalances in hormones, gut health, nutrient levels, and more.

Women’s Health

Q: Do you work with women who are trying to conceive?
A: Absolutely. I help support women through preconception, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum using a combination of nutrition, lifestyle support, and natural therapies.

Q: Can you help with PCOS, PMS, or perimenopause?
A: Yes. These are some of the most common concerns I see. Together, we’ll explore the root causes and develop a personalized plan to help regulate hormones and improve quality of life.

Gut Health

Q: Why is gut health so important?
A: Your gut plays a major role in digestion, immunity, mood, hormone balance, and more. Poor gut health can contribute to symptoms like bloating, fatigue, skin issues, brain fog, and even anxiety.

Q: What kind of gut conditions do you help with?
A: I commonly work with IBS, SIBO, leaky gut, constipation, food sensitivities, and reflux. We use a combination of diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes to support healing.

Appointments & Policies

Q: Do you take insurance?
A: I am an out-of-network provider, which allows me to offer more personalized care without insurance limitations. I do accept HSA/FSA, credit, debit, and cash.

Q: Do you offer virtual appointments?
A: Yes! Functional medicine and wellness consults are available virtually for your convenience.

Q: How do I get started?
A: You can contact me through my website or call/text 734-933-0455. We’ll talk through your concerns, goals, and the best way to support your healing journey.
